Every batch of KDZ VITA aggregate passes laboratory testing. Results are recorded in the ERP and available to clients as quality passports.
What we measure
Density
Bulk and true density are the basis for accurate volume-to-tonnage conversion and back.
Compressive strength
Granite rock of the Klesiv deposit is M1200-M1400. Suitable for high-grade concrete.
Frost resistance
F300-F400 — the aggregate withstands hundreds of freeze-thaw cycles without losing strength.
Flakiness index
Share of flat/elongated particles. For euro fractions → ≤15%, for road aggregate — ≤25%.
Fines content
Particles below 0.063 mm must be minimal. Verified by sieving and washing.
Moisture
Controlled for correct weighing and precise concrete mix calculations.
Standards and regulations
Euro aggregate
European standard for aggregates in asphalt mixtures. Covers euro fractions 4-8, 4-11, 4-16, 4-18.
Construction aggregate
Ukrainian DSTU for crushed stone and gravel from natural rock. Base standard for UA fractions 5-20, 20-40, 40-70.
Railway ballast
Standard for railway ballast aggregate. Regulates fractions 25-60 and 40-70.
Quality system
Control at every production stage — from drilling and blasting to wagon loading.
